Stefanie Takei-Taylor CHOREOGRAPHER - Just Dance 2019, Just Dance 2017, Just Dance 2015

Stefanie was born in Pasadena, California where she trained at Pasadena Dance Theatre, American Ballet Theatre, and Austin Ballet. She was a semi-finalist in the Los Angeles Music Center “Spotlight Awards” and went on to received a BFA in dance from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts as a Trustee Scholar. Stefanie has worked with choreographers Laurence Blake, Cherylyn Lavagnino, Doug Nielsen, Stephen Petronio, Cassandra Phifer, T. Lang, Brook Notary, Johannes Wieland, John Hunte, Tara-Jane Herbert, and Jamal Callender. She is a founding member of Diesel Fusion Dance Theatre with Ihaia Miller and currently teaches ballet and pointe at the Barbados Community College, Gentle Steps Academy, and The Dance Place.

Stefanie is currently Associate Director and company member of the Barbados Dance Project and recently represented them at the Jamaica Dance Umbrella in March 2019.

Sarita Jackman CHOREOGRAPHER - Just Dance 2019, Just Dance 2017

Sarita began ballet classes at The Dance Place from the age of 6 and in her 20+ years with the school has expanded her training to various styles of dance including jazz, tap and modern. She has completed RAD ballet exams to grade 6 and participated with the school in various performances such as the Gold Cup parade, Crop Over festival and in the school’s Just Dance productions. After graduating from Harrison College, Sarita attended the University of the West Indies St. Augustine Trinidad where she completed a BSc in Civil with Environmental engineering, and presently works in the real estate and construction industry. Sarita is an avid lover of all styles of dance.
